The city will invest $101.8 million to build the new Community Health and Wellness Center that will support a wide range of recreation and fitness activities and community programs. This budget will include all phases of the project from planning to closeout and commissioning.  Budget is inclusive of all aspects of design and construction including soft goods, FFE, and any program-based needs. Funding sources will include DEED grant funds, which may include specific B3 design standards and SB2030 energy standards that will need to be incorporated into the design.  These standards would be in addition to the City’s sustainability standards. DEED grant funding will require Minnesota Department of Administration Predesign requirements, approvals, and State Capital Grant requirements. Proposers are responsible for all information included State of Minnesota Capital Grants Manual (Attachment A) and the Predesign Manual for Capital Budget Projects (Attachment B).
